A family of eight from Ballinasloe, who have been forced to live in a one-bedroom caravan for 13 months, have finally been offered a council house.
Their caravan has no heating, electricity or running water. The family involves husband and wife, Martin and Margaret Corcoran, and their six children, aged between 5 and 16.
In January, the married couple spoke about their ordeal over the past year. Eoghan Murphy spoke to Martin again on Friday morning, shortly after he received the offer of a council house in Ballinasloe. He first spoke about how difficult the past 13 months has been.
