As we continue our series of interviews with local elections candidates, Eoghan Murphy travelled to Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim, to meeting Independent Seán Wynne.
The retired deputy principal and secondary-school teacher contested the local elections in both the Ballinamore and Carrick-on-Shannon local electoral areas, but wasn’t successful.
He’s only running in Ballinamore this time.

He told Eoghan why he wants to get into politics.
