A long-serving Leitrim councillor claims social media abuse is preventing many people from contesting the local elections.
Sean McGowan has been speaking to Eoghan Murphy ahead of the local elections on June 7.
He also spoke about the impact of forestry in Leitrim – as 20 per cent of the county is now covered in trees, the highest percentage in Ireland.
