A Leitrim County Councillor has highlighted what she calls a major discrepancy in train ticket prices online versus those at the station.
Councillor Finola Armstrong Maguire says that people unable to book tickets online are paying significantly more for their tickets at the train station.
Her call follows an incident where she was charged €11 more for a ticket at the station, than the price online, with the ticket going from over €13 to €24.
Councillor Armstrong Maguire brought the issue before the May meeting of Leitrim County Council, with the majority of fellow representatives backing her call on Iarnród Eireann to address the problem.
She told the Let's Talk show about her recent experience.
