A Leitrim man has been left scratching his head after a bizarre experience at his home last night.
'John' lives in a remote area between Carrigallen and Ballyconnell and says when he stepped out of his house just before going to bed last night he spotted a number of lights in the fields around.
He says the lights seemed to be orbiting around three large translucent objects of some kind in the sky but there was no sound coming from them.
The Leitrim man says he watched the spectacle for over an hour between midnight and twenty past one , and tried unsuccessfully to take pictures with his camera.
Speaking to Anne Norris on the Let's Talk show today John says he knows most people won't believe him, but he'd like to know if anyone else noticed anything strange in the area last night.
