Parents of children with Down Syndrome haven't been able to access vital services such as physiotherapy, speech and language, and occupational therapy since March of this year because of the Covid pandemic.

The services which had been available at the Springfield Centre in Westmeath and the Phoenix Centre in Longford were all suspended in March in order for the therapists to be able to help out in swabbing and testing or contact tracing with regard to Covid.

Linda Gorman, who's two and a half year old son Ethan had been making great progress with the services help, says its not good enough that several months later there is no sign of any level of service being resumed.

She spoke to Anne Norris on the Let's Talk show about why she and other parents feel they have to "go public" on the issue.
