Over 718 thousand euros worth of contraband has been seized by Revenue officers over the last week alone.
Officials examining parcels in Dublin and Midlands seized approximately 23.5 kilos of butane honey oil, 9.4 kilos of herbal cannabis and 513 grams of ketamine with a total combined value of 690,500 euro, during the course of numerous operations.
The drugs were found in packages originating from the US, UK, Netherlands, Sweden, India, Canada and Thailand and were intended for addresses nationwide.
Meanwhile, Revenue officers also seized retail goods, cash and illegal alcohol in separate searches across the week.
That is just one single week in the operation of Revenue's anti smuggling operations.
