A road safety advert created by a Westmeath Secondary School is going viral across the country.
TY students in Coláiste Mhuire in Mullingar created the two minute ad as part of their road safety awareness programme.
The idea from student Ethan Coll was chosen and shows the point of view of two students, one a pedestrian and the other a driver, as well as their mothers.
The video shows how phone use while driving can result in tragedy with the pedestrian killed and Gardaí arriving at his home to inform his mother.
The project received funding from Westmeath County Council and was shot by Noel McIntyre.
It's now been shared by multiple Gardaí social media accounts, Westmeath County Council and is closing in on one million views in total.
Teachers Kieran Kelly, Michelle O'Halloran and student Ethan Coll joined Daniel Considine on Let's Talk today.
