Local woman tries 30 times to find GP

In recent months we've heard from the Irish College of General Practicioners that there's a severe shortage of GP's across the country.

Carol, who recently moved to this region found it extremely difficult to find a doctor to accommodate her.

She contacted over 30 GP surgeries and eventually found one over an hour away away from her home.

Carol has been sharing her story with Tommy Stenson.
