Longford family farm business targeted by raiders

Rebecca O’ Halleran whose parents farm business was broken into by raiders on last Friday night has been speaking on the Let's Talk show today about the incident.

The family run enterprise is just a short distance outside Kenagh in Co Longford  and is well known to many people who buy their free range eggs at the site.

An expensive quad bike and several valuable power tools were stolen from the farm in the raid during which the culprits spent at least three hours  on the premises.

Rebecca outlined how she had arrived home and gone to bed only a short time before the raiders first appeared on the scene.
