Coughlan's Farm and Cookery School in South Longford has been announced as the nations top cookery school in the Irish Restaurant Awards.
The business based near Abbeyshrule is run by Fiona Egan and her husband Michael, with ingredients and produce raised on the farm used in the cookery school itself.
The Best Cookery School award recognises the Cookery School that fosters a passion for culinary arts in its students and contributes to Irish food culture
The awards were announced last night at a special ceremony in Clayton Hotel in Dublin.
