A Longford woman is thanking the public for helping her fundraising efforts to attend a special cancer clinic in Mexico.
Edinburgh resident Laura Gilmore Anderson was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer last July after years of misdiagnoses and undergoing several medical tests.
She is currently undergoing a round of chemotherapy but is hoping to raise enough money to be able to attend a similar cancer clinic that treated fellow Longford native Lynsey Bennett earlier this year.
A Go Fund me established by Laura has raised over £70,000 to try and help her get as many rounds of special care as possible.
A new song, performed by Charlie McGettigan and Paul Hennessy, called If Anything Happened To You, is also all donating all its proceeds to assist Laura.
