Martin Collins of Pavee Point talks about large crowds at Leitrim funeral point

Pavee Point says it is 'shocked' and 'angered' after images of a large funeral in Leitrim began circulating.

The funeral in Carrick-on-Shannon for a member of a traveller community saw around 300 people attend the burial.

Locals have reported large crowds gathering in a temporary marquee at the Shannonside View estate near the town.

Gardai confirmed that multiple breaches of Covid-19 travel restrictions in the last 48 hours.
