Dozens of tributes have been paid to former Longford County Librarian Mary Carleton Reynolds following her retirement in recent weeks.
The well-liked and extremely well-respected beacon for the arts industry in Longford and its surrounds took up the role in 1991.
The Leitrim native has been reflecting on her time in the position and the changing importance of, and functions of, libraries.
