Last month it was confirmed that over €200,000 is being provided for a major upgrade of services at libraries in Leitrim and Longford.
Over €50,000 will be spent on an upgrade at Lanesboro library in Longford so it can take part in the 'My Open Libray' scheme already proving a success in other branches in the region.
