The newly elected Chairman of Roscommon IFA is encouraging farmers to talk to banks, and advisors as costs continue to increase in the sector.
Pat Leonard says it's important that farmers don't stick their heads in the sand and that they take whatever advice is available during these very challenging times.
Speaking on the Let's Talk show this afternoon the Roscommon Chairman says any increase in cattle and sheep prices over the past year have disappeared.

He says farmers are also going to find it very costly to get silage harvested in the coming weeks.
