A new counselling service for people aged between 12 and 18 years old, who have suffered sexual violence, has been set up in Athlone.
It's run by Athlone Midlands Rape Crisis Centre, which provided over 2,000 counselling hours last year.
A further 500 hours were given in outreach clinics, including in Roscommon town, Monksland, Mullingar and Longford.

An outreach clinic has also just been set up in Boyle Family Resource Centre, with counselling every Tuesday.
