A property has been identified in south Leitrim for a much-needed residential care home for people with disabilities.
The news follows a meeting between the HSE, parents and politicians in the Bush Hotel in Carrick-on-Shannon on Friday afternoon.
It was also revealed a respite care home in Carrick will go to tender in the first three months of next year.
