A Garda investigation into a suspended Roscommon solicitor and his former Ballaghaderreen law firm remains open.
On Tuesday, the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal recommended Declan O'Callaghan be struck off the roll of solicitors over professional misconduct.
Mr O’Callaghan was found guilty of professional misconduct over his handling of the sale of lands in Co Mayo in 2007.

The matters first emerged into the public domain in 2018.
