Parents who have experienced pregnancy loss are being urged to reach out for help should they need it.
The Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Association of Ireland also known as the Charity Féileacáin is reassuring those affected by the loss of a child during or after pregnancy that supports are available.
A number of prominent buildings in the Shannonside Northern Sound Region are to be lit up in blue and pink on Sunday.
The lighting up is in honour of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day.
Regional Hospital Mullingar's Maternity Department and Sligo Hospital will be joined by Leitrim County Council headquarters, the Athlone Family Resource centre and Kilronan Castle in Roscommon.
