A local family from the Shannonside region is the face and voice of the Christmas donation appeal for charity Laura Lynn this year.
The O' Flaherty family from Athlone received help from the charity over five years ago when their daughter Muireann was diagnosed with a very rare disease.
The charity, established to help children with life-limiting illnesses provided huge care and assistance to the O’Flaherty family in
the short time they had with their daughter.

Muireann's mother, Gina, has been speaking to Kevin McGillicuddy about her daughter.
