Modular homes that are energy efficient and can be constructed in a matter of days are growing in popularity during the present housing crisis.
That's according to the newly elected president of the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers Gerry Coffey from Roscommon.
The Ballinlough man was elected to the position at the 51st annual conference of the institute in Athlone on Saturday.
Speaking on the Let's Talk show today he says while auctioneers would simply like to see more houses being built, one area experiencing significant growth right now appears to be the modular home solution.
