The saga of the destruction and rebuilding of St Mel's Cathedral in Longford is the subject of a new photographic exhibition.
Here in Longford and the surrounding area, many remember Christmas morning 2009.
The shock and dismay as the county woke up to the terrible scenes of St Mel's cathedral in flames.

What followed over the next five years was an incredible display of community and dedication.
A lot of that was documented by well known Longford man Tiernan Dolan.
Tiernan is a retired teacher, GOAL aid worker and biographer of Longford personalities.
