People dealing with addiction in the Shannonside Northern Sound region are being urged to engage in a special programme to help them abstain.
SMART Recovery supports individuals who have chosen to abstain, or are considering abstinence from any type of addictive issues either substance or behaviour.
The programme works by teaching people how to change self-defeating thinking, emotions, and actions; and to work towards long-term satisfactions and quality of life.
