Amnesty International is warning that Tik Tok is promoting videos that can lead teenagers to engaging in dangerous behaviours.
Two new reports from the NGO showed that after 5 to 6 hours on the platform, almost 1 in 2 videos were mental health-related and potentially harmful.
They found that the business model is "inherently abusive" and puts users engagement ahead of their health and wellbeing.
