Lough Rynn is a picturesque lake located in the middle of undeveloped forestry and bog in South Leitrim. The area is crisscrossed with walking trails and paths, both along the lake and through the bogs and woods. It's also home to Lough Rynn Castle Estate, a 4 star hotel located in the former home of the Earls of Leitrim. The area is steeped in Modern Irish History, with the Estate once home to the Ruthless Lord Leitrim in the 1800s.
