As part of our series of interviews with local elections candidates, Dan Dooner spoke to Fianna Fáil candidate Larry Brennan. This is Larry's third election attempt, having run in 2009 and 2014. A well-known publican, Larry highlighted Roscommon's, planning, healtcare, sporting facilities, and evening and nighttime economy as some of the major issues locally.
The former Chairperson of Roscommon Town Team was also recently announced as the winner of the top prize in the Creggs Rugby Club draw. He's now hoping it's a case of third time lucky in the Roscommon Municipal District:
