Anju Nahar from Punjab, pursues a nursing career in Cavan.
Anju Nahar, a nurse from Punjab, India moved to Ireland with her husband and two daughters in 2006 for a better life. After working in Cork for 9 years, she moved to Dublin but found it too expensive. She has been working in Cavan since 2017 which she considers her home, but Punjab is still deeply rooted in her. Killykeen Forest in Cavan is her favourite place, and has found comfort in the Christian religion after her brother passed away. Ireland including its weather is paradise for her and would recommend it to other Punjabis in India.
