Denise Corbett from Scotland sets up an art school in Leitrim.
Scottish artist and teacher Denise Corbett talks about Scotland being known for Lough Ness, haggis, poetry, kilts, beautiful castles, and sceneries. The only girl among eight children, she is proud of her mother who brought them up and instilled the Scottish culture and heritage in them. A chartered teacher in Scotland, Denise studied Fine Art Sculpture and worked in secondary schools teaching Art & Design, Photography and Portfolio. She came to Ireland in 2015 on a career break and bought a house in Leitrim where she has opened an art school in Drumshanbo and works with adults and children with autism.
