Harold Gordilla keeps his Colombian and Spanish ways as he settles in Virginia, Cavan.
Harold Gordillo from Colombia moved to Spain when he was 17 to have a better and safer life. He worked as a taxi driver and then got into an Erasmus Plus Mobility internship programme at the Rural Hub in Virginia, Cavan in 2018. Now a full-time employee, he will soon marry his Peruvian partner and colleague. He encourages other migrants to come to Ireland because of the welcoming and friendly nature of the Irish people, and for the Irish to try the food and see the beautiful churches in Bogotá and stunning castles in Santander.
