JC Arbo celebrates becoming Filipino-Irish in Cavan on Philippine Independence Day.
On Philippine Independence Day, Julius (JC) Arbo talked about Philippine culture and his journey from Iloilo, Philippines to Cavan in 2010 to join his parents. Migrating at a young age of 13, he said he was a boy in the Philippines and became a man in Ireland. Now working in a software company and a volleyball coach, JC considers himself to be a blend of both the Irish and Filipino ways. He encourages migrants to learn the language, work hard, and respect the law.
