Nigerian Catherine Joseph Finds Her Purpose as Green Party LEA Rep for Longford.
Catherine Joseph narrates her journey from Ichama Benue in Nigeria where her African name was changed to a Christian name, to studying International Relations and wanting to be an ambassador, to meeting her husband at her Travels and Tour business and joining him in Ireland where he worked as a laboratory researcher. Then she describes how she brought 5 litres of palm oil in her luggage to bring the flavours of her native traditional cooking in her first foreign home in Drogheda and settling in Longford where she found her purpose to run for office in order to support fellow migrants and promote social inclusion.
