Nurse-turned-entrepreneur Lisa Gifford sets up a goat milking farm in Leitrim.
Lisa Gifford from the U.S.A. whose grandmother was born in Manorhamilton and grandfather in Leitrim went back to Ireland in 2016 when she was in her 70’s. A former nurse, she was born in New York, lived in various parts in America and spent some time in England and Serbia. Now 83, she makes raw cheese, fudge and ice cream from goats she hand-milks on her Leitrim farm.
