Born in London and raised by her father in Essex, Sally-Anne Duffy describes getting married at 17 to a British soldier during the troubles, starting a new life in Bailieborough in 2006 with her Irish husband after losing her father and grandmother, and remaining strong and positive as she went through her son’s illness, losing her job, her estranged husband’s fatal accident, and surviving cancer during the Covid lockdown. Her contribution to childcare and her remarkable artistic talent continue to inspire and make an impact in Bailieborough.
