Monaghan Rugby Club has seen what was a great 2020 season pulled from underneath their feet, with the first of the Covid lockdowns they lost out on promotion and a cup final.
The return towards the end of last summer, saw them start back at square one, before another lockdown denied them the opportunity to finish a competition for the second time.
