Signposts

Signposts raises awareness of remote rural localities in Longford, Roscommon and South Leitrim; capturing their essence through a collection of narratives. Each programme serves as a unique tapestry, interweaving tales from individuals' lives, the communal spirit, and the historical roots. The series undercovers hidden gems, stories intrinsic to the region's identity. It spotlights the very heart of the area, encompassing local figures, grassroot organizations, and newcomers who have recently become part of the community. Signpost harmoniously blends the melodies of the area, incorporating music and songs from the gifted artists residing within. Signposts is broadcast on Sunday evenings at 6pm. Signpost is funded by Coimisiún na Meán with the Television Licence Fee.
