LISTEN: 18-year-old quoted €8,000 for car insurance

An 18-year-old from west Roscommon has been unable to get car insurance, receiving quotes of up to €8,000.

Brendan O’Brien, a sixth-year student in Castlerea Community School, is calling on the government to act on what he claims is a crisis in the sector.

He explained his situation to Eoghan Murphy on Tuesday's Bottom Line.
