The owner of a phone shop in Carrick-on-Shannon has spoken of his relief after gardaí foiled a major burglary in his store.
At about 5 o'clock last Wednesday morning, Nadeem Raja was awoken in his home in Manorhamilton after the security went off in his outlet in Bridge Street, called Talk Shalk.
He called the gardaí, who attended the scene and arrested a man, who has since been jailed for the incident.
Nadeem says a man was in the process of stealing up to €10,000's worth of goods from the store, but they were recovered.
Shortly after the incident, Nadeem spoke to Eoghan Murphy about what happened, for Tuesday's Bottom Line.
