A new bar and restaurant has opened in Boyle, Co Roscommon, employing eight people.
The north Roscommon town felt the recession hard in recent years, but it now seems to be on the cusp of a revival, with a number of businesses either expanding or reopening.
The Moving Stairs was a feature of Boyle for generations, but it has been closed in recent years.

However, over the past fortnight, it has reopened – it’s been slightly renamed as The Stairs Gastro Pub.
Eoghan Murphy visited it and spoke to the manager Jim McGrath, for Tuesday's 'Bottom Line'.
He asked him why he established it.
