Major food retailer Iceland intends to open a store in Carrick-on-Shannon.
The chain, which specialises in frozen food, opened a supermarket in Roscommon town last month and it currently employs 20 people.
Iceland now has 24 stores in Ireland and it intends to increase that to 60 or 70 over the coming years.

Some of those will be in the Shannonside/Northern Sound region.
On Tuesday's Bottom Line, Eoghan Murphy spoke to Ron Melcalfe, the managing director of Iceland Ireland – he first asked him about why they opened a store in Roscommon.
