On Friday, Taoiseach Leo Varadkar officially opened a new plant in Carrick-on-Shannon that’ll create 100 jobs.
King and Moffatt Building Services, which was established by local man Pat King and John Moffatt in 1978, has an existing electrical shop in the Boyle Road.
Now it’s opening a new headquarters at Attifinlay, on the Leitrim side of the town, which will service its electrical-contracting business in the UK and Europe.
Sixty people have already been recruited and a further 40 jobs will come on stream in the next 18 months.
Pat King, the managing director, told Eoghan Murphy about the plans on Tuesday's Bottom Line.
