A new bar and restaurant, employing 20 people, has just opened in Carrick-on-Shannon.
Buffalo Boy is a partnership between three local businessmen – Sham Hanifa, Seán Purcell and Brian Whelan.
The Leitrim county town is renowned for its fine restaurants, but Sham, who also runs the famous Cottage Restaurant in nearby Jamestown, felt there was a still a gap in the market in the area.
Eoghan Murphy met Sham, Seán and Brian today in the Buffalo Boy.
He firstly asked Sham why how the restaurant came about.
