County Enterprise Awards have been in operation for 20 years and take place annually in each of the 31 Local Enterprise Offices throughout the country.
Roscommon’s prize-giving ceremony was held on Monday.
The overall winner was Black Donkey Brewing, which produces a range of beers, with all the production taking place at Ballinlough in west Roscommon.
The founder of the company, Richard Siberry, spoke to Eoghan Murphy on Tuesday's Bottom Line and first outlined the background to the brewery.
The other prize-winner at the awards was NCLS Crane and Lifting Services, based in Scramogue, near Strokestown.
The company was founded by 33-year-old Scott Hunter, who gave his reaction to the win to Eoghan Murphy.
