A Ballinamore man has been crowned the overall winner of the Leitrim county final of the Ireland’s Best Young Entrepreneur competition.
Run by the Local Enterprise offices, IBYE is supported by the Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation and Enterprise Ireland.
Now in its fourth year, in 2017 it attracted 1,500 applications countrywide.
In the Leitrim final, 31-year-old Richard Wilson was the big winner, picking up the ‘best established business’ award and the overall prize.
For his efforts, he was given investment of €15,000.
He told Eoghan Murphy how he was delighted with the win.
