The planning process appears to be over for the €8-million waste-to-energy plant planned for Ballaghaderreen.
In September, Roscommon County Council granted Biocore Environmental planning permission to retain and complete its €8-million facility at Ballinphuill, Tibohine.
But the Tibohine Action Group, which opposes the project, indicated it would appeal against it the planning board.
Yet An Bord Pleanála confirms no appeal has been lodged, with the deadline passing on October 10.
While the action group declined to comment, Biocore confirms it received its final grant of planning from the council last week, which its operations director, Declan Murray, welcomes.
Eoghan Murphy spoke to him on Tuesday's Bottom Line.
