Buffalo Boy is a partnership between three local businessmen – Sham Hanifa, Seán Purcell and Brian Whelan.
The Leitrim county town is renowned for its fine restaurants, but Sham, who also runs the famous Cottage Restaurant in nearby Jamestown, felt there was a still a gap in the market in the area.
At the weekend, the Buffalo Boy celebrated its first anniversary and Eoghan Murphy went along to the celebrations to chat to Sham, who told him how the first year had gone.
