The historic post office building in Castlerea in west Roscommon is set to become an Indian restaurant.
The listed building in Main Street provided postal services to the community from 1911 until recently.
Bobby and Annabel Singh bought the premises and are turning it into an Indian restaurant and takeaway, called Bombay Palace, and its official opening takes place this weekend.

The couple have run a similar business elsewhere in the town since 2006 and, as Bobby told Eoghan Murphy on Tuesday's Bottom Line, it has had mixed fortunes over the years.
