There was a major boost to the Longford town economy last week when clothes giant DV8 announced it is opening a store in the town.
The clothes giant is spending €1 million on a new outlet at Ballymahon Street and 15 jobs are being created.
A 4,000-square-feet premises will stock a number of leading brands, and the company believes it will add to the existing retail offering in Longford town.

It’s due to open in May, and Eoghan Murphy spoke to DV8 area manager Ramona Fitzpatrick about their plans.
