Last week we reflected on the news that seven shops in Carrick-on-Shannon are closing, in what appears to be a retail crisis in the town.
But one of the businesses isn’t actually shutting completely – it’s merely relocating to nearby Cloone, where Gaynor Ryan will continue to run her casting enterprise called Casting Emporium, which was based in Main Street in Carrick for two years.
Given her slightly unusual business, for Tuesday's Bottom Line, Eoghan Murphy travelled to meet her in Carrick-on-Shannon to find out more.
