As we continue to face into more weeks of lockdown the great hope we had from the rollout of vaccines from the beginning of this year has been slowly diminished, changing to frustration and more recently even fear as we saw the government put a pause on the AstraZeneca jab following reports of rare blood clotting incidents among a handful of people in Norway.
The European Medicines Agency carried out a review of the drug during the the week and pronounced it "safe and effective" and "not linked to an overall risk of blood clots".
It's left some people though still very nervous so Joe Finnegan spoke to Dr Greg Kelly in Roscommon about the health concerns that people might have, and what the medical advice is on this issue.
